The hotel was a great find for us as a family with a baby. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, accommodating all five of us. Its proximity to Nishiki market and Gion was a huge plus, making it incredibly convenient. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to assist us. However, we felt the dining options were lacking, which was a minor downside.
I can't recommend this hotel enough! The rooms had everything we needed to be self-sufficient for a few days, with a Lawson just across the road and Nishiki market nearby for groceries. The location is an absolute gem, with reasonable-sized rooms, a fantastic selection of shops and restaurants nearby, and, above all, the wonderful staff, Mika & Ikoku, who made our stay truly special. However, the only minor downside was the separate AC unit, but it wasn't a big issue at all.
